At first the title was "Players with bounceback potential next season", but then he added "that could be on the block"..

Dustin Brown would never be on the block.. I think he has the potential to be a 40 goal scorer

I think Kaberle will have a huge bounceback if he goes to the right team. The fact that he hasn't played well for RW will probably be why he gets fired, a year or 2 down the road. Not everyone responds well to this guy. If Kabs goes to say PHI or PIT, he'll be back to a near 70p dman again. If he sticks around in TO, he'll languish. Kabs needs great players to play with or he's useless.

Not on the trading block, hopefully, but I think Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Marek Zidlicky and Brent Burns are going to have major bounceback seasons under a new coach with the "aggressive offensive" style that Chuck Fletcher says he wants to implement.

By the way. I thought the bug in your avatar .gif was real. I spent about 20 seconds chasing it with my mouse pointer.

Jack Johnson - missed a good chunk of last season with injury, the season before he was the best D-man on the Kings...time for all that potential to explode.

Lapierre too. He was pretty much our most consistent player... for the last 3 months of the season.

Gorges too, he had his best year.

Heatley - could score 50 again
Spezza - could put up close to 100 points again

O'Sullivan, Nilsson, Gagner, Schremp...pretty much all the Oilers' young guns - could benefit from a coaching change.

I'd say Campoli should have a good year on a real team in Ottawa. I think Tanguay will bounce back. He's still got some game. Sturm should bounce back. Stastny on the Av's should bounce back.
