Leblanc on Webcast right now!

http://www.b2cabletv.com/index.asp?b...2&channelsid=5

Your chance to see Leblanc once and for all.

Omaha wears the Orange jersey. Leblanc with the #71, Kristo with the #18. (Unfortunately, I don't think you see their jersey number that much...)

As far as the other possible draft picks for the upcoming draft, check #26 Birkholz for Fargo and goalie Mike Lee.

That's a game that was aired April 12th. If you don't want to know how the game went....don't click on this link.

The camera guys are obsessed with finding girls in the stands.

And for whoever has problems reading the numbers, I know I do, well both Leblanc and Kristo are righties.

Well it's always like that on B2. You hear everything all the time when the guys are around their headset. It's often hilarious.

Great period by Leblanc and Kristo. Great bodycheck by Leblanc towards the end of the 1st. Surely Leblanc doesn't seem to be afraid of a lot of people. I saw initiate 2 bodychecks, while he is taking the bodychecks fairly easily.

I wish he would have stayed in the Q....he would have been way more ignored than he will come draft day. Seems that there were a whole lot of scouts on that night.

I don't know if I'd take him over such guys as Ferraro, Josefson or Schroeder (well, that one might be a little more obvious), but he sure is looking like a blue chipper.

I will be wrong, but I would take Leblanc ahead of Ferraro. Josefson dissapointed me a whole lot during the Worlds but seems that he was hurt/sick and did better in the U-18 and should be a great player. Schroeder, I always liked him. So it will be a tough call. Needless to say if Holland falls and some others....It is a really really strong 1st round. And honestly I see this year as having 3 great rounds. Even the 4th will have his share of good player in there. Not a year to not have a 2nd,.....but that's another story.

It's hard to follow a game in that small screen, but he don't always move his feet (Leblanc). That goal was nice though.

And on a sidenote, how the hell can the Sabres scouts do all their work in front of a TV or computer screen???

Meh, I just really like Ferraro's drive. He's just a gamer.

Then again, Leblanc is too. That's why I said I don't know. I have a slight preference for Ferraro, but I haven't seen nearly as much Leblanc. I don't think any of those 2 would be a bad choice at 18 (it's a possibility none make it there), but I'm pretty sure Schroeder would be the number 1 choice no matter who else is available (realistically).

Kristo doesn't miss open nets. That's a pretty good news...

He probably won't have that time and space in the NHL though...

That Mike Lee will be drafted in mid-rounds and maybe as soon as the 3rd round, that will be my prediction. Tons of potential there.

They have the Thrasher's 3rd...so basically, we're dropping what, approx 15 spots? No biggy, odds are they'll still get the same player they would've gotten at the 17th spot in the 2nd....if not, someone darn close on their board.

I saw a good part of the third period and here's my take on what I saw of Leblanc (even if it wasn't easy with the small screen and that I'm far from a scout!) :
What I noticed first was his drive and his strong plays in the traffic. He was willing to take the body to make his play.
He seemed bigger than what I thought but it was really hard to tell with the small screen).
He does have a decent speed and a good vision, but he sometimes stop to move his legs, so he's sometimes behind the play.
All in all, he's far from the perimeter player that I heard of!
Thanks for the heads up Whitesnake!

No prob. He's definately not soft. But I've seen at least 10ish games from him this year, and while he initiates some contacts, he's not going to make a name of himself with thunderous bodychecks and constant checking. I mean he's a finesse player who is not afraid of the traffic. Goes in front of the net, wins his battles along the boards, skates elusively well, great hands, nice hockey sense. What's not to like?

Would Zetterburg be a good comp for Leblanc? Stylistically, not level of play obviously.

I don't see a player with the same package of skill, speed, and offensive acumen in this year's crop of the Q. It seems there's more prospective Power Forwards, High End Ds, etc... What do you think he would have done in the Q? As one of the resident experts on the matter, IYO, who's the player in the Q the closest to his skillset?
