I wouldn't mind Tampa taking him for a year or two.

Ohlund has said that this will be his last contract in the NHL and from what I've seen and heard of Ohlund, he would rather play "for the right fit" as opposed to the money. If Philly could offer him the term he was looking for and maybe a limited NTC I could see him signing for close to 4 per. This is just speculation. Philly would be a good fit he could play 2nd pair with a young partner, and he would definitely be a calming influence. With that said his money maybe better spent on a player like Zanon, then trying to bring in a Goalie.

good point - I could see Wash having lots of interest in Matty O.

About the future he says that he's looking forward to see what the market has to offer. Further he says that it'll be a family decision, but that it would be fun with a decent shot at winning the cup. He's looking for a 3-4 year deal and then retire while he's still "fresh".

I think Washington, especially if Kozlov / Federov don't return .... spending money to obtain a gritty FW / C and a top-end defenseman. That said, grit / stability is a MUST in any acquisition regardless of the position played. I could see perhaps Hal Gill, or maybe Scuderi though he's not the toughest of players.

The salary cap / retention of current players will dictate this entirely.
