Fenway for the winter Classic in 2010

Im upset, would rather see the Rangers host in yankee stadium or Citi field. Also they wont even play the Bruins- accroding to the article it will be either the Caps or Flyers

If they're going to do a WC at Fenway, then it should be Bruins/Habs.But,we're talking about the Gary Bettman led NHL here, and he wants to get Ovechkin into the spotlight, so it'll be Bruins/Caps.

Lets face it after our end season display you can hardly argue with the league opting for other eastern teams.

1 goal per game average scored hardly makes for thrilling impartial tv - NY or no NY

How they could not schedule Montreal vs Boston @ Fenway is a pure Bettman move.

The Canadiens already played an outdoor game a few years ago... they should use other teams.

Bruins-Caps would be my choice, then Philly-NYR the next year @ Yankee or Penn State Football field.

Ah it should be an orginal 6 team.
I had my plans already made if the Rangers were playing.

I love the original 6, but I think it would be hard to argue that seeing the Bruins play the Caps or Leafs would generate more US interest than seeing the #1 and #2 seeds this year and the league's most exciting player.

I have a feeling i know exactly who you are taking about... But Citi Field is bigger then fenway and yankee stadium and it is beautiful.

Bigger in what way? Yankee Stadium is MUCH larger than Citi Field.

Though Citi Field, aesthetically, blows Yankee Stadium out of the water.

Bettman wants his newest "Face of the League" front and center, you know it'll be Bruins/Caps.

Plus pucks wouldn't be flying out of right field every 3 shots.
