Le service demeurera interrompu jusqu’à ce que les enquêteurs aient déterminé de quoi est composé le colis suspect.
So, until they don't open up the package and find out what's in it, the metro will stay closed.

Thank god I was already at home by then, otherwise I would've been ****ing pissed... assuming that it isn't a bomb, obviously.

My brother is currently stuck around there with a: no money (spend the last cents on calling home from a pay phone to say he would be late for supper), b: no cell phone and c: no food. So we can't even reach him to tell him there are buses to the south shore set up at Metro Beaubien.

He would have actually been home by now had he just walked all the way to Metro Longueuil using the Jacques-Cartier bridge instead of waiting it out, lol.

I'm sure they'd have announcements about the alternatives over speaker system, no ?

Maybe this is way I only used the metro twice when I was in Montréal.

Bomb threats don't happen everyday though.

True, I'm just lazy and didn't feel like going anywhere that took 20 minutes to get to by taking metros. For some dumb reason, I just walked everywhere, but then again I needed to save money.

I was stuck in down-town.
It took me 3 hours to get home. It's not 3 hours travelling/walking, it's rather time wasted waiting metro/bus, and stuck in traffic.
