Cops arent going to do anything if you just say you forgot it, unless they are just trying to be a huge dick. But apparently if you fight the ticket and you can produce a license at the courthouse you can get out of the ticket.
It really isn't a big deal, but if you get a dick cop, it's a $180 fine. And I don't know of any court that would just dismiss it just because you show up with your license then, and there's not really anything to downgrade it to. The state is a real ******* about it. The fine used to be $29 and it was a "nice" ticket to write to cut someone a break if they were speeding or something. I guess the State saw it was written a lot and decided to jack up the fine. It's BS, and I'll only write it if someone is really begging for it.

A continuation of the discussion from a few days ago...

An NHL team in Hamilton would play in the NHL's Western Conference according to an application from the Phoenix Coyotes to move to the Ontario city.

In the club's official submission to the league, included in court filings in the team's bankruptcy case, the team would be incorporated into the Northwest Division of the Western Conference, with the Colorado Avalanche taking Phoenix's vacated place in the Pacific Division.

In making its case to the league, the Coyotes point out the flaws of having a team in Phoenix and compare them to the advantages of having one in Hamilton.

PITTSBURGH -- Head shots and late hits once again highlighted the NHL General Managers meeting Tuesday, with managers saying they have no plans, at this time, to make league’s competition committee.

Blows to the head, accompanied by video, took up more than an hour of Tuesday’s session.

“We had good dialogue and it’s an issue we all want to take a look at,” said Flyers GM Paul Holmgren. “We’ll continue our dialogue with the NHLPA and see if we can come [up] with something. There’s a fine line. I don’t think anyone wants hitting to come out of the game. At the end of the day, it’s always been a man’s game. No one likes to see serious injuries.”

There was also no resolution on whether to change the rules on fighting and staged fights.

Tim P. has an update on the J-Bo situation...

http://philadelphia.comcastsportsnet.../blog_panaccio
Quote:

Remember what I said the other day about Jacques Martin leaving Florida and how it could impact on the Flyers ability now to get Jay Bouwmeester?

Well, that's because Count Jacqula and Flyers' GM Paul Holmgren have had a steady dialogue over the past several months with the idea that maybe the Flyers could get JayBo's right at the draft in a major trade.

When The Count went to Montreal, it more or less puts the Flyers back to square one in dialogue because now they have to court Bill Torrey.

Remember I said Florida might be sold, too? Well, Now that JayBo is gone and new ownership comes in, anything can happen, but I am dead certain JayBo will NOT re-sign and will be dealt at the draft.

But the FLyers may not be the team. Some GMs say, it's the Flyers, but others are telling me JayBo is headed out to ALberta with the most likely landing place at Edmonton where Steve Tambellini has a pretty good, young team that underachieved this season but now has Pat Quinn behind the bench.

I dont care where honestly, I just find a team moving to be an interesting thing, especially since the Coyotes sucked for the most part.

I may be the only one upset on here about the Coyotes moving. No more free parking and ten dollar student ticket nights tuesday-thursday

I thought all along that JBo would 'go home'.

Only more so now that Souray has requested a trade (cap space and an added roster spot) and of course, the hiring of Pat Quinn.

--------------------

It should also be interesting to see how Martin fairs with the Canadiens. His record as a coach is over 100 games above .500 (as heard on TSN), and some the players that have previously played for him...have had their best years with him as their respective coach.

That's the rumour, which dates back to the end of the Oilers season.

Pronger reprise?
Quote:
Perhaps one of the reasons Souray didn’t make himself available to reporters Monday is he didn’t want to address speculation that he’s asked Tambellini for a trade.

Rumours Souray has asked to be dealt began several weeks ago and they’ve persisted since. To this point, neither Souray or anybody in the Oilers front office has gone on the record to put the talk to rest. Until that happens, and there’s a flat-out denial from one of the parties, this has legs.

Stay tuned.

Dude, you only had 1312 vCash. How do you think the people that had thousands feel? At the time I learned of the reset, I was sitting just over 750k.

You're seriously upset over 1312? It's not even real money, it's just for fun.
