An exhaustive list of America's nuclear sites – including maps showing the location of fuel for nuclear weapons – has been accidentally posted on a government website, but the Obama administration denied that the leak had jeopardised national security.

The 266-page document, marked "highly confidential", was removed from the website of the Government Printing Officelast night following media inquiries.

Barack Obama had ordered the report for the International Atomic Energy Agency in the hopes of prodding other countries, such as Iran, to submit similar classified information nuclear activities to the agency.

In his accompanying letter to Congress, Obama described the information as "sensitive but unclassified". Nearly every page is stamped "highly confidential safeguards sensitive".

"The enclosed draft declaration lists each site, location, facility, and activity I intend to declare to the IAEA," he wrote.

It was not immediately clear how the report, with details of hundreds of US nuclear facilities, including reactor sites and confidential sites at weapons labs, ended up on the website of the Government Printing Office.

Its publication was first noted on Monday by Steve Aftergood, who publishes a blog on government secrecy at the Federation of American Scientists.

The report contains information on America's nuclear weapons labs at Los Alamos in New Mexico, Livermore and Sandia as well as scores of other nuclear sites.
That's great Obama. Just show them where to nuke us. While you're at it, why don't you drive them there and provide them with a truck to transport the damn thing.

New this morning, out of Colorado...

AVS PART WAYS WITH GRANATO; SHERMAN MADE NEW GM
Quote:
The Colorado Avalanche completed a major organizational shuffle on Wednesday. The club named Greg Sherman the new general manager and parted ways with six members of the franchise's hockey operations staff, including head coach Tony Granato.

Sherman spent the last seven years as team's assistant general manager and has been in the organization for the last 13 years. The team fired former general manager Francois Giguere after finishing last in the Western Conference (32-45-5) this past season.

"Greg Sherman deserves the opportunity to prove he can be an effective general manager in our business," said Lacroix in a media release. "He has shown that he possesses the necessary qualities required to be successful with this new challenge in front of him.

Ha. I have a friend who's a big Avs fan and wouldn't shut up about how much he disliked Granato as a coach. He'll love this.

Dude, you only had 1312 vCash. How do you think the people that had thousands feel? At the time I learned of the reset, I was sitting just over 750k.

You're seriously upset over 1312? It's not even real money, it's just for fun.
It's not the 1312 man, I could care less, but I was going to get real into it for next hockey season and for this upcoming football season and now I have little interest since I know if I did work at it and become vWealthy it will get vSet and I will be vPoor again.

Who exactly are you referring to? Anyone who could actually nuke one of these sites already knows about them, guaranteed (Russia and China in particular). Hell, they likely already have them targeted. No one else that is an enemy of ours can reach us right now. Not Iran, not NK...and there's no one else who's a potential enemy with nukes.

As for terrorists, I find that threat not very credible. That's simply not good bang for the buck for them. They hit one of those sites, guess what? US still has a bajillion nukes. We can still glass the planet 3 or 4 times over, since they won't be able to get all the missiles/bombers/subs that carry nukes. They'll target cities/ports, to generate maximum civilian casualties.

So really, what's there to be concerned about? I see very little here that's terribly damning. Now, if we were talking about blowing the cover on agents in the field or something, I'd be far more concerned.

I agree with this.

Colorado has always been a "distant" team that I followed, hopefully it's a sign to come for the good..

I leave next week for Cape Cod, and that's all we do...go striper fishing. Massachussets (sp?) isn't one of the States, but every other state around it is issuing the advisory...so ****.

OK.... i just rewatched 'Waterworld' for the first time in like ten years. I'm pretty sick and have just been going through old DVDs and stuff thats air on 'OnDemand'. Now...

It...wasn't...that...bad. Why does everyone hate this movie with a passion. I was like 12 when I first saw it so I didnt care for it much back then, but now a days. It was a decent OK, 2.5 star, 6.25 out ten flick. Nothing 'WORST MOVIE EVER!!!' worthy which most people seem to believe.

So why is this? Was the movie like hyped up beyond belief back in the day? Did it promise a bunch more? I remember it being like 24095 trillion dollars to make, haha, but that shouldn't make people hate the movie for having a blown out budget.

Yet i just read on Wiki that its budget was 175 mil and it made 265mil... According to hollywood a flop is anything under double the production cost in gross profit. So it didnt do that bad really... So im confused. Why do people hate this movie so much?
