Looks like they are planning to start Vasya and Kerzhakov.

http://football.kulichki.net/rusnews/news.htm?57338

Aldonin will start if Semak can't go.

He's experimenting with Kerzhakov. This is an important game, I'm not sure I would do that.

Pavlyuchenko is our best aerial threat, without him we are a really short team.

Looks like it'll be:

Akinfeev - Inga, Kolodin, Vasya, Zhirkov - Semshov, Denisov, Zyrianov, Bystrov - Arshavin, Kerzhakov

I can't say this is my favorite lineup, but I hope they play well.

Come on Russia! Win!

That's the way to take care of business.

Now, I hope they beat Germany and take 1st in the division.

You gotta be impressed with the way Bystrov played today. Very aggressive and active, he pretty much made the 2nd goal.

I was, only it's his 2nd good game in as many years, you would want more than that from a NT player.

With this game, Bystrov has certainly put himself on the map, but I'm not sure if that's now his spot.

I think Guus put him there to counter-balance Vasya on that flank. Once Anyukov returns, I think Guus might want a different kind of player there.

Is Kerzhakov now our starting Striker?

Wow, what's going on with RPL?

Is there really that much parity? Rostov and FC Moscva keep on winning, while Rubin and CSKA lose. For CSKA it's a 2nd straight loss.

Zenit also has been so-so.

This is really interesting.

What about a fixed game? Terek - KS was fixed no doubt.

I didn't see it. I'll take your word for it.

Any idea why Dzagoev hasn't been starting? Doghouse?

Dzagoev...well I see 4 reasons:
got a little star-sickness syndrome
coming of an injury
Zico prefers to field a country-mate (Karvalho)
2-nd year plyaers have well-known problems

How about 1-2 with Dzagoev on the bench?

Taranov's Mercedes was set ablaze while parked next to his apartment. I would suspect it has to do with his team loosing a "fixed" game to Terek of Grozny.

that's too bad (Tom')...

Is CSKA selling all/some of it's stars? A lot of rumors, Zhirkov seems a certain.

you either biased or not very smart. How's it undeserved, they played their butts off and won 2:0, no cheap PK's and yet another undeserved red card. And yeah, Donovan played great, so did my boy C. Dempsey.

Bukharov with a hat-trick. He is really starting to come into his own.

Good luck to Yura in England.

Bukharov always starts coming into his own and than get's injured. Fate...If not for injuries he'd be starting on NT over Pogreb and Pavluchenko, IMHO
