I would think now Hossa is a jinx. You may get to the final with him but you will lose it.

I wouldn't mind, but for his credibility's sake he better re-sign with the Wings. It's not like they'll dismantle the team next year and they'll still be contenders.

Yup he's going to stay. He has his best chance of getting back to the finals with them. Better luck next time. I kinda feel sorry for him, then again he always has the millions he made this season to comfort him.

I'll take Hossa.
A trip to the finals and losing is better than getting swept in Round 1.

DET may not have the cap space to keep Hossa, but we'll see.

When you think about it, it is better the Penguins won the cup this year than last year. They are all drinking age now!!!!

Good to know we're in a position to turn down 40-goal scorers because they won't help us win in the Stanely Cup final. Nevermind the fact that we haven't actually been to a final in 15 years...

In fact, it's perfect. Hossa can sign with us and not have to worry about losing in the finals again.

Did you miss his 26 points in 20 playoff games last year?

Geez is everyone taking crazy pills tonight or what

Neither was Lecavalier in 2004, but everyone talks as though he was God incarnate in those playoffs.

Anyway, Hossa is a much better player, both offensively and defensively, than any of our forwards. None of our forwards even come close to him. So, yeah, I'd definitely love to see him join the team.

I would gladly take Hossa. I don't think the Wings would want to lose him though..

Tell me about it ****.

Hossa puts up respectable albeit inconsistant numbers this year after a godly playoff last year, and suddenly we should turn down an elite guy like him.

Yes indeed, one good year while playing with Crosby. Did you miss the previous 10 years?

Yes, I would still take him anyday of the week !! He would easilly be the Habs best player, tied with Markov...

People that wouldn't take Hossa in their team doesn't know anything about hockey plain and simple.

The years where he put up 16 in 18 and 10 in 12 with Ottawa...?

Or wait, is he a choker because he couldn't lift the amazing Atlanta Thrashers past the Rangers a few years ago?

And by your logic, he should have done just as well this year considering he was playing with Datsyuk and Zetterberg for large portions of the playoffs.
