Rangers shopping around Gomez

I heard this today on XM NHL Radio

Does anyone have anything on if there is any teams that are interested?

It would be great to move his contract because that creates room for a player like Kovalchuck.

Unfortunately only Atlanta is desperate enough to take his contract.

Best case scenario is we trade Gomez and his cap to Atlanta this season and then Kovy walks anyway and signs in NY.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man

there are a few teams that have the cap space, but not many will take his contract..same with drury's contract, and REDDEN NEEDS TO GO like yesterday

i give Redden one more year to see if he can play solid and come close to justify his contract, he wont justify it completely but towards the end of the season and in the playoffs he was our best defenseman

Let's cross our fingers and hope that someone will take a gamble on him. He's still a decent player, (I believe he's one of the best that can carry the puck into the offensive zone) but it's just the contract. Let's also hope we don't trade our youth and picks with him.
