Kronwall and Hudler

Wondering what a package of Kronwall and Hudler would get.
I'm curious what pick(s) they could get in this draft.

Detroit should take that and run IMO. The get one of Kane, MSP, Schenn or Cowen, and a young, potential elite goalie

I find Kronwall a bit overrated IMO. He makes those big hits, but he makes a few boneheaded plays IMO. Plus he really has a tough time hitting the net sometimes.

Wings seem to do alright without drafting high. I doubt that Thrashers want to move 4th pick for this package. Take Hudler out of Detroit and I don't think that he will be that good of a player. Atlanta has a great chance to pick up an elite player with #4.

no chance that wings do kronwall and hudler for 4th and lehtonen. lehtonen is getting very close to bust territory and kronwall is just coming into his own. kronwall is about the 4th last player detroit would move behind datsyuk zetter and lidstrom.

Drop Arty and maybe fair value. And only because Kronwall has a great Contract.

What would we need to add for Arty? I think he is just what Detroit needs. Hes just like Kopecky except he is bigger stronger and fights much better. I think he is the perfect role player. We can throw in Emmerton or some other prospects or picks

I don't see Kronwall being on the move. Hudler, maybe.

I don't know about Ritola, so I left him out, but if I were Tampa, I'd pass.

SzczechuraNot sure his value
The only reason I would swap out Szczechura and Artyukhin would be the cap we would have to take on.

I think giving up Kronwall and Lebda would free up enough money for Det to pick up Bouwmeester.(would only consider moving Kronwall if he was coming) It would be tight and it would have to be a cap friendly deal. I would also hope with that second they would take a forward.

Pavel Datsyuk $6,700,000
Henrik Zetterberg $6,083,333
Johan Franzen $3,954,545
Valtteri Filppula $3,000,000
Daniel Cleary $2,800,000
Tomas Holmstrom $2,250,000
Kris Draper $1,583,333
Kirk Maltby $883,333
Ville Leino $875,000
Darren Helm $599,444
Tomas Kopecky $500,000
Aaron Downey $500,000

Nicklas Lidstrom $7,450,000
Jay Boowmeister $6,000,000
Brian Rafalaski $6,000,000
Brad Stuart $3,750,000
Jonathan Ericsson $900,000
Derek Meech $483,333

Chris Osgood $1,416,666
Jimmy Howard $716,666

PAYROLL $56,445,653
CAP ROOM $254,347

This only works if Lilja is on LTIR and the cap goes up a little for injury call ups.

After next year they could potentially clear up over 12 mill in cap space.
