it's not just this one, i've seen at least 3 proposals in the past month that have little going to toronto for nothing

at least when people offer up terrible proposals for kovalchuk they have a reason to think he would be traded for that terrible proposal

why would that thrashers trade little?

and calling people mentally challenged normally isn't the best idea

you don't trade guys like him

the thrashers need to add a top 6 RW not trade one
Wow can't believe most of you are assuming that the OP is a leaf fan. He's a Montreal Canadies fan. Another attempt to make us look bad. I don't think a single leaf fan has made a proposal in a while but that doesn't stop the hate. I'd even say some of you who assume all leaf fans think like this are just as stupid as J Haul 20.

Yeah...this is all kinds of fail for both sides. Why would ATL give up their star forward and their probable starting G?

Why would the Leafs give up 3 good components in a rebuild? Who would want Blake anyway?

If these 2 teams make a trade, how about:

ATL: 1st in 09 (4th)
Garnett Exelby
Holzapfel/Sterling
Maybe (Colin Stuart/Jim Slater)?

TOR: 1st in 09 (7th)
Tomas Kaberle

Leafs move up and pretty much are guaranteed Braydon Schenn whom, I am assuming Burke is targeting all along and could be a target for PHX. Also, they add a Burke type d-man, a good prospect and a depth forward (maybe to move along in another deal).

Atlanta gains a premier PMD to anchor the ATL D who instantly improves the special teams and is a good mentor to Enstrom, and at 7th; they still get a top-tier prospect

I'm basing this proposal simply on the fact that Burke wants the brother combo again and honestly, PHX really does need a guy like Schenn/Kane and Burke would steal the thunder on draft day

That's the problem, though. You could say it would be to mentor Enström or Bogosian, but we have enough puckmovers. We need defensive D. Someone to play with Hainsey and maybe show him how to be a bit more responsible in his own end. The Enström-Bogosian pairing was beautiful for us after Havelid got moved last season.

LOL nice comparisons.

I think the OP meant it more like:

Little vs. Tlusty
Lehtonen vs. Pogge
Blake and 1st vs. 2nd

atlanta has absolutely no use for kaberle

between enstrom, bogosian, hainsey, salmlea, and kovalchuk he would see absolutely no powerplay time and enstrom and bogosian don't need mentors

they were easily our best pairing last season

atlanta's only need at D is a 2nd line defensive dman to play with hainsey. anything else and you're giving us something we don't need

yet the thrashers still lose everything except for where toronto's first is paired with something against a 2nd round pick

little is the only forward on our roster that is untouchable. you are not going to get him for anything less than a huge overpayment. especially not along with our best trading asset in lehtonen

The best thing to do after seeing a post like this is leaving it bare, noone responds and no bickering occurs
