I'll take Richards as the more complete player. If Parise had a mean streak I'd probably take him.

I took Parise for the garbage goals. However Id like to see Parise work on his puck skills because if he is able to skate with the puck more I see an even more dangerous Parise.

I think you just answered your own question. Parise is a little better offensively, but Richards is better in every other area. Depends on what you value more. Richards gets the nod here IMO.

I wish I had both on my team.

I can see this being a great one-on-one rivalry in a few years.

Really good poll question. I chose Parise, but it's very, very close.

Absolutely love the way Parise plays the game (cominf from a Rangers fan btw), but for my team I would take Richards. Guy does absolutely everything, and brings a grittiness and edge that I like on a team. Parise is only lacking the grit that Richards has imo.

That was a very tough choice. I did pick Richards though for his added grit and toughness, because I like players like that.

Can't go wrong with either player. I look forward to these two being rivals for the next ten years.

Well Richards is a playmaker so he's even further. Parise and Carter are both very speedy goal scorers, even if they score different ways.

Richards,
until Parise shows he can bring it more than one year.

Damn, hard poll.

I understand what your saying but at the same time he has had 3 straight 30 goal seasons.

Richards.

I am not sold on Parise at all. Few more good years will change my mind, by i just don't see him having another year like he did this year.
