Haha, like i said in the Obsequious Banter Thread. I'm currently planning a trip to Toronto to see the Phils play up there and go visit the HHOF. We have seats in the first row of left field(7 of us) and were contemplating making a World Series or Bust sign. Wont be as big but since theirs 7 of us it would be a good size. Do you guys have any other sign ideas?

What do you want him to do, they hit two good pitches off of him. Those ball weren't hard hit. Hadn't he gone like 15 games in a row without a run allowed. He is allowed to have one of these.

Why, you're not a Phillies fan?

Guy is a schmuck, but he played under some atrocious management, I would have wanted out too.

I agree.
Philadelphia fans often cannot let things go...it was like 8 years ago for Christ's sake!

Well, I think the guy's a dick...I just tend not to waste energy worrying about players that didn't screw over a team I care about.

They played like crap most of that game. But I hate loosing like that. I wasted almost 4 hours watching that with nothing to show for it. But then again every loss is like that.

I've always been a big Rolen supporter, hated when he left. But understood. Still like him too.

Does anyone else think this team can repeat if they don't get another pitcher. Also I think Cole needs tho throw more curve balls because he has a pretty good one, and is it me or was he throwing 94 last year year and now he is throwing 90-91.

No. In fact, I don't think they can win the division without getting another pitcher.

I think he spots his curveball effectively. It's not his best pitch, so he wants it in guys heads rather than using it as an out pitch. And, no, he was not throwing 84 last year...unless you were looking at his change.

I meant to say 94 as his fastball. He has only been real dominant in the Dodgers start this year. I think he has the stuff to dominate like Lester has.

Cole has never really been a mid 90s guy.

Erm...check the stats if you think Hamels is giving anything away to Lester.
