Hannan was great in his prime. That time is long past. Kronwall, in addition to his hitting, had 51 points last season - not too shabby.
Agreed. Hannan pre-lockout was one of the best shutdown defenders in the league. But without the ability to clutch and grab, his defensive game has lost much of it's effectiveness. And Hannan has practically zero offensive skills.
Kronwall fairly easily, especially considering contracts.
