Sadly I could see that happen.

I just think, like Pronger, if you can get a legit superstar, you have to do it.

We had Pronger for 1 year, and we had one hell of a year. Not saying Heatley = Stanley Cup, but the difference between a team with a superstar and without are quite apparent.

I don't know if Neal is untouchable.

As I said, they are obviously dealing from a position of strength as rarely do rookies who got 37 points get that much. It's not like the Oilers are giving up bupkiss.

Congrats on signing Demitra(10 days after FA started, and MASSIVELY overpaying Sundin when it was obvious the Canucks were the only team that had the cap space to pay him enough to get off poker stars.
Have you ever hear the saying "those in glass houses shouldnt throw stones" ?

Ask around. Gagner and Cogliano wouldnt fetch a second rounder on these boards. But I really cant see Dallas dealinh Neal unless its an overpayment.

Visnovsky
Cogliano
10th
should be a nice deal for Heatley

Thanks for the contribution

Bouwmeester and Heatley on the Oilers roster has about as much of a chance of happening as me winning the lottery tonight.

Crazy overpayment for Heatley in the first one imo.

Don't think Dallas is about to trade Neal.

I personally wouldn't give up a solid young roster player for Harding.

Forgot the other one

So if you do win the lottery is that a sign?

Make sure to let me know!

Oh and I could use a few mill if you wouldn't mind.

Andrew B I have to give you credit.....great proposals.

Some may work, some may not (I can see Dallas fans not going for the Neal trade but the reasoning and package are solid).

Again they are just ideas and we are just a bunch of fans talking hockey so I don't get to worked up with posts.

Hope you don't get discouraged with any of the negativity because I am thoroughly impressed with your ideas.

Keep the great ideas coming.
