I thought there was an end in sight to these ridiculous proposals but I guess not. Just for the record it's an overpayment by the Caps and the Pens would probably just sit tight anyways because Malkin's proven himself in the playoffs. They know what they have.

Oh, and it would put the Pens over the Cap when all is said and done so you might as well put a lock on this thread.

just thinking this too, i was reading and then thought wtf, most teams dont have consistent 80-90 pt. players, but with so many good young players in the league more players will hit that mark in the future, but still, dime a dozen.
