Roller Hockey/Ice Hockey Open Ice time in Nassua County? Where can I go?

"Roller Hockey/Ice Hockey Open Ice time in Nassua County? Where can I go?"

I'm 20 years old. I havn't played hockey in 2 years but I used to be pretty good. I'm looking for a place to play once a week, preferably the weekends where you just pay 10 bucks or w/e and get thrown on a team so I can get back into it. I prefer Roller Hockey but I wouldn't mind doing ice again (Havn't played ice in 6-7 years) Thanks for the help!

9) Give up your dream. You are not going to the NHL. You will not be discovered by an NHL scout while playing pick-up hockey at 10 pm on a Monday night. Play hard but remember that Janet Gretzky is not waiting at home for you & everybody has to go to work the next morning.

or TOM.
he's a fool. he used to run midnight hockey.he wouldn't let better players protect themselves, so the league stunk.
long beach arena used to have a great skate at 5:30 AM on sundays. good bunch due to the time , only serious players.

yes, Tom. I've met him a few times. Never had any problems.

how would he not let better players protect themselves?

when you're constantly getting hooked and slashed in the face, and there are no calls.so you finally have enough and you thrash a guy within an inch of his life, then tom tells you to grow up after you appeal his suspension, that is protecting the guys who are doing the hooking/slashing.
i actually got a shield cracked with ME getting the only call for arguing with the ref. and lynn was keeping time and did NOTHING except threaten to suspend me if i continued the game without the shield.
now maybe he's changed, that was in the early 90's . but i know two others who had similar problems with that league. superior had a much better league, and after playing there, i realized how bush midnight really was.
