Habs sold????

Did I jut read correctly on the ESPN ticker that the Habs and their arena were just sold to the Molson family for $550 mil???

I just read on the ESPN hockey page that they are saying that it's being reported by a french canadian news station and that the deal may be far more than the $550 mil initially reported. WOW.

Yeppers. http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=653012

Now I think the Molson own the entire team and not just the 19ish% they had before.

So, Celine Dion and the guy who started Cirque du Soleil didn't buy them after all?

just to specify... for the past 8 year molson-coors breweries (the company) has owned 19.9% of the team after having sold the rest to Gillett.

It is the three Molson brothers (the family not the company) who has bought the controlling interest from Gillet.

So now it's Molson Family 81.1%. Molson-Coors Breweries 19.9%.

How much of Molson-Coors does the Molson Family own, if any?
