Personally, Pascal reminds me a certain Roy Jones, very instinctive boxer, very quick and strong, will dance around his opponents like a panther playing with his prey, alot of faints, volubile, same category of pounds..
this kid is a machine.. still soon to say how good he will become but so far so good, no need to rush him he is still pretty young.. Some calls him the Sidney Crosby of boxing..
Lol, whoever said that has never boxed in their lives.
David Lemieux's skill level is nowhere comparable to Sid"s, though his work ethic is second to none. He's a product of Ring 83, actually he's probably their posterboy when it comes to conditioning. He is a machine, the warm-ups he does/leds before actual skill work kills normal boxers and he's barely breathing hard.
Skill-wise though... His ammy career was decent nothing amazing (Qc has a strong ammy scene though) because he doesn't crack that hard and has a shoeshine style of boxing. However, last time I saw him live was last summer at the windsor gala where he knocked out a can in seconds.
Unless his style changes drastically, I don't think he's anything more than a Sebastien Demers (minor titleholder). Which is still very good on the scale of things and more than enough to earn a living. Being Québecois de souche helps alot for marketability and he has a good team around him so I don't see him being mismanaged and fed to the wolves before he's either ready or the payday being worth it.
But NewsHabsEra is right that he is still young and a conditioning machine so who knows what might happen in the future.
