For you Canadians out there, Alex Ovechkin is apparently going to make a guest appearance at this year's MMVA's (i.e. the Canadian version of the MTV music awards). It's one big street party outside in Toronto. I found this information on this website: Alex Ovechkin appearance
I look forward to seeing him on tv! He'll probably be a presenter or at the very least, I'll enjoy watching him walk the red carpet.
So I watched the MMVA's today. For you Canadians, it will get re-run for the rest of the year on channel 29. Alex Ovechkin walked the red carpet in casual clothes-black shirt and a hat. He presented twice today, one when he was ontop of the roof of a building. I was surprised he didn't dress up since he's quite the fashionsta. I wonder if he'll meet friends at the afterparty since no other hockey players were there...but there was Chris Bosh and Reggie Bush.
