Hilarious, but, the scary part is that no one they show on that clip (including the coach) is a Ranger anymore.

And that was 05-06 correct?

Yikes.

I believe Brashear was in the penalty box, and that's the way Rucinsky was facing.

Oh russian announcers for a flyers-rangers game?

The announcers didn't even notice it in the slightest

Yep those are the guys. Surprising how fast we cycled through players. Henrik is the only one guaranteed to stay long.

hilarious. i remember he was telling brash the score of the game cause the rangers were up and they started to goon it up, loved when he used the finger to tell them they only have 1 goal. miss that team too. Rucinsky i liked a lot, one of the few guys who seemed to elevate his game in NY.

Great game, one of the few I saw in 05-06 on that same russian channel.Their announcers are always like that, more often then not they're in their own little world talking about russian players.

While we're talking about Rucinsky anyone have that goal he score against St.Louis?Goes off the backboard, back of the goalie's helmet or soemthing like that...

That 05-06 team had great personality and skill and was so much fun to watch. Of course Sather quickly got rid of all of them and brought in the most boring team in history with Drury, Gomez and Redden. Thanks for nothing, Slats.

Loved that team. Makes me miss Jagr and Straka more than anything though.

Why did we get rid of Rucinsky? He WANTED badly to play here again... I feel like if any athletes wants to come here and play for us, we should give them serious consideration rather than overpay to get players who don't want to come here. Why do we get rid of good players and bring in bad?

Not to mention Rucinsky scored close to a point per game when he was here.

He was only good for around 65 games a season, he always seemed to get hurt for short stints. But he made the most of them.

He's definitely a guy who, in hindsight, we probably should have kept around for a little longer.
