I only want to ad in that if JJ were to have played the entire season last year he would be considered as an elite talent for his age. When the guy came back it took him a few games to get up to speed (the first ten in my opinion) but once he was back he played exceptionally well and even showed signs of becoming a true #1-2 pairing guy with solid if not exceptional pp ability.

I'd think about this a lot. Perron's great but we need a high-end goal scorer and I don't see the guy fitting that mold. Care to part with Boyes?

I hate tell you this, but as is, JJ isnt a bust...The expectations for him are so high that anything short of a top 10 defenseman is considered a bust on these boards..


The way he played after he came back from his injury is on par or better then the average defenseman in the league..

Nah... I don't buy that. That would make too much sense. We should just get whatever we can for him while we can.
