I have always been a Fedorov fan. When he came to Anaheim I was so excited, though it didn't pan out I still really liked him. Hope he tears it up in Russia. Best of luck to him.

Probably haven't come out with the exact salary figures yet. It sounded like the team wasn't willing to confirm them to the press yet (at least the last I've read from them) so there may be some uncertainty there still.

I love that first highlight...everyone else does all the work, Feds floats in and gets all the glory. Next one...last one back, therefore, breakaway.

He certainly had a wicked shot and knew exactly how to float into scoring positions...just slightly out of the traffic areas.

Keep in mind Nylander would have been their 3rd line center. Should his agent get an even better reward?

Not quite. At least Nylander showed something when he was with the Rangers only two years ago...Feds got paid 4 million for all of 41 points the year before.

Feds brings so much more then just 41 points.

Feds may have only scored 41 points, but the play he got out of some of the other players on the team, most notably Brooks Laich and Alexander Semin doubled his value.

Craig conroy brings the experience of multiple stanley cups and an MVP to a team with (then) negligible playoff experience? He's an idol and mentor to a very young team? A former Selke trophy winner on a team maligned for forwards not committed to a team defense?

Fedorov spent parts of 2 years with Washington, and managed to score the most important goal of the year in each season he was in Washington.

Fedorov was easily worth the 4 million last year.
