If that's the case, who would we take at #7?

NYI - Tavares
TB - Hedman
COL - Duchene
ATL - Schenn
TOR - Kane
PHO - MSP
LA - ?

Cowan? No thanks.....

If that happens, you get the torches, I'll get the pitchforks.

Since DL is in Montreal, we'll have to settle with taking out the De La Hoya statue as a warm up.

If for whatever reason Dean did trade back to 7 and Pheonix took MPS, then I would want Dean to just keep on trading back to get Kassian or maaaybe Schroeder. This is not a bad draft to stock up on 2nd round picks.

Imagine trading back to 15, gaining like 4-5 extra 2nds this year in the process, taking Kassian at 15, then taking Tatar, Panik, Raajala AND two other players in the 2nd round

I still MUCH prefer to pick at 5, but if Dean does trade back and it blows up in his face, that would be a good save.

Phoenix is not likely to take MSP or any forward. They are leaning heavily towards OEL.

MSP might be that one prospect that "inexplicably" falls this draft. There were a number of organizations that were disappointed with him at the combine.

And yet MPS seems to be right up Pheonix's alley.

True, they will probably take a defenseman, they certainly should, but I won't be shocked if they take another speedy winger to dazzle and zip around the ice with Boedker.

I hope it's Atlanta offering the #4 pick.....then Kane is all ours!!!!
I wouldn't be surprised if it was Preissing and a 7th round pick for Kaberle...

Right, then we'll have to change that to sledgehammers and pickaxes. C-4 would work as well but that's a little harder to come by.
