Oliver Ekman-Larsson

Rankings:
TSN THN ISS RLR McK CSB
6 13 9 7 4 4 (ES)

Quote:
International Scouting Services: "Ekman-Larsson is a very confident skater with excellent offensive skills. His shot can be compared to that of pro level players, however it takes time to get off at times. He has great transitionally offensive ability and can start the rush effectively and quickly. He finished second in scoring by d-men during the World U18 championship with 8 points in 6 games. Has a strong ability to throw some crushing hits and is a very steady performer. He is very difficult to get around as he in impressively mobile and angles out very well."

Red Line Report: Larsson is the purest skater and most naturally athletic defenseman in the draft. His movements are so smooth and fluid and his edging so precise that you barely hear his blades carving the ice — it's almost as though he floats over the top of the ice surface.

Chris Brown

Stats:
Year Team GP G A PTS PIM
2008-2009 USDP (U-18) 53 15 13 28 108

Rankings:
TSN THN ISS RLR McK CSB
39 61 34 101 40 30 (ES)

Quote:
NHL Central Scouting’s Gary Eggleston: "Chris plays a tough and physical style game. He sets the tone of the game by taking the body hard and making a statement right from the opening face-off. He'll drive his way through checks to get to the puck. He's a very good skater with a long, smooth stride with balance and agility. He has very good anticipation of the play, and plays a solid two-way game."

Mike Lee

Stats:
Year Team GP GAA MIN SO SV%
2008-2009 Fargo 48 2.40 2,745 3 .918
