"Momotan" is an alt, right? This is a brilliant schtick by Lord Chezz or WTK or someone, right?

can we wait after the draft before throwing rock at Gainey

and the comment he make mean nothing. People think he will say something like this:¨We have a trade on ice it's Lecavalier but don't tell anyone i'm not suppose to talk about that yet¨

I'm just gonna quote a Flames blog that aptly put it: Sutter traded Tanguay because Tanguay was crowded out by the suck. This is a player who's idea of a bad season in Calgary is carrying the team's second line on his shoulders and being used as a shutdown forward, while still putting up enough ES points that he would be second on the best Habs team in over ten years.

The value, ability, and high performance of Tanguay with the Habs has already been analyzed ad nauseam and I'm not going to make the apology of the team's most productive and most effective forward again. You can dislike him or dislike his style, but refusing to recognize his value at this point is plainly refusing to acknowledge reality just so you can cling to the tattered shreds of your point.

PS: And Tanguay's injury this year was his first major injury ever, so tagging him as "injury-prone" is even more ridiculous, especially if you claim it drove Sutter to trade him BEFORE said injury happens.

Don't bother. It's one thing to disagree with someone (God knows you and I have), but there is absolutely no sense in arguing with him. I've followed a suggestion given to me earlier and he has become the second person only on my ignore list, with Erika Kostitsyn.

I would suggest that the Carbo chants may be coming from people who are more concerned with promoting a certain heritage rather than from people who actually care about the Habs...

How long are we all gonna have to put up with this clown as the GM?
PJ is a loud mouthed buffoon and I trust him as much as I trust Osama BinLadin.

If PJ is an idiot, i guess Hickey and Melnick are idiots too cause they just said the same thing. They made a good point. Komisarek is gone unless you pay him what he wants, and Gainey has the money to pay him but doesn't want to spend that on him, so you spent the whole year twiddling your thumbs when you could have negotiated a good long term deal at a good rate, so now you have no options, and your wasting the last minutes on life support chasing a guy who doesn't want to be here unless you offer him what he wants. What is the problem with overpaying to keep him, since your just not going to be able to spend that money because NOBODY wants to resign or sign here. You may as well spend the money and keep him.

Problem is the team isn't very good.
