6'1 175
Commited to Colgate College for next season.
Defense.
Right Handed Shot.
Missed the 2008 draft by 9 days, is another 90 born.
Maybe Gillis wants the older prospects?
Ranked 113th (NA Skaters), taken 113th.

Maybe it's not so much "older" as more mature?

We picked an ex-Samurai?
I know we needed more grit...but isn't that carrying it a bit too far?

Gelinas went to NJ in Round 2.

Apparently, Price scored the most goals for a defensemen in the CJHL last year and was also named to the CJHL First All Star Team. Doesn't seem to bad. As mentioned, a right handed defensemen with solid size at 6'1 and 194lbs.

We needed a right handed defensive prospect pretty badly.

Too bad he's not going to Bowling Green so i'd have a reason to follow them again. I don't really plan on buying a Colgate jersey.

Where is Colgate University? I don't think I've heard of that one before, if you'll excuse my ignorance...

Hahah.. well played sir.
Ronin actually was a position of great dishonor in feudal japan.
It meant one way or the other he had ended up with out a master.
So greatly goes against Gillis' pursuit of character players.

Sounds like a bit more of the "brainy" way to go if it's up against those three universities...I'm completely ignorant to the US collegiate system, but is Colgate in the Ivy League?

Colgate is not an Ivy League school though I guess you could technically say they play in the "Ivy League," as their opponents include the Harvard and Yale's of the Collegiate system.
Colgate has started to develop a very nice program in the past few years, and have done a LOT of recruiting from Canada, particularly the BCHL.

Colgate isn't Ivy league, but they have a very strong reputation academically, and it isn't a school that's easy to get into.
