Has shown good poise around the net and can be strong on the puck. He has great hands and the puck seems to have the ability to follow him around the ice. He has elite and power play potential.

CSS has him with 63 points in 44 games ... did he score 27 in his last game?

Too early to tell but: Kyle Chipchura #2? (As a 6th rounder this time)

From the youtube vids, he looks like a skilled player who is not afraid to go to the corners or drive to the net. He has good playmaking abilities and can also finish!

Reminds me of the big smooth skating kid we have at Northeastern(his name escapes me).

Walsh is the home run/bust kind of pick. Considering the low ammount of games he played last season, he could have passed under the radars of several teams.

That far, I love this draft for Montreal. Safe high picks, and some risky picks in the end.

Looking at the video posted a few minutes before this post, his speed doesn't seem to be a problem... and at 6'2" already, that is great news.

He looks faster than Chipchura already despite he is like 6 years younger.

He played 44 games...32-31-63 and 28 PIMs. I think Jr.A teams play around 50 games usually.

I was not saying he was slow, he truly isn't. Just talking about feet agility. And also understand that the opposition is not strong by any means.

It says 175lbs but he looks so much more like 200lbs. He does strike me as a guy who's pretty build up in his higher body but would need more work on his lower.

Interesting video! He looks really raw, but still creative. I wonder if he has the hands to make what he wants to do on the ice though. For that reason, he might be a better winger, but man does he goes to the net hard! That's a good thing! There is something there for sure...

Seems like a nice pick. I can't wait to see how he develops.
