preds prospects

Which of these predators prospects do you think have the most chance to make a serious impact within the next 2-3 years. All players are forwards,

Konstantin Glazachev
Nick Spaling
Patric Hornqvist
Mike Santorelli
Blake Geoffrion
Zach Budish

I believe these players are all very skiller and have high potential levels if things work out the right way for them...

"Serious" impact? None, honestly.

Konstantin Glazachev - Will never come to NA
Nick Spaling - career 3rd liner
Patric Hornqvist - best chance probably, but may not ever be good enough to crack top-6
Mike Santorelli - Peverley part II
Blake Geoffrion - career 4th liner
Zach Budish - won't be ready before 2-3 years.

I agree with this. Over the next 2-3 years I'll go with Spaling having the biggest impact followed by Hornqvist. I'm still not sold on him though. Hopefully Budish will be the best out of this group but it will probaly take longer than 2-3 years but you never know because big bodies can make the transition to the NHL easier from a physical standpoint.

It really depends on serious impact. Any superstars nope but there will be some decent players here.

Konstantin Glazachev - He will never see the NHL
Nick Spaling - Probably little impact in the next two years, but should be a pretty good 2nd/3rd center for us in 3-4 years
Patric Hornqvist - He needs some adjustments still but is still very young could be a feature on the top 2 lines ala Erat.
Mike Santorelli - Looking like an AHL only player right now, could do something but needs work.
Blake Geoffrion - Will be in Milwaukee in 10-11 and should make the team in 11 as a 3rd or 4th rounder.
Zach Budish - Give him about 3 years, could get called up as early as 10-11

Quickest impact: Spaling, Hornqvist, Santorelli. Biggest impact: Budish, Hornqvist, Spaling.

It'd help if he could actually win a face-off rather than lose or get kicked out every time. Can't even win draws at the AHL level. Career AHLer IMO.

Thats too bad about Glazachev, If any of you remember Konstantin Panov, he was a real point getter but was in the same boat as far as never playing in the NHL. We have to stay away from drafting players with the first name Konstantin! hahaha.
I believe if Budish comes back and has a great season he could be no more than 2 years away. I believe out of this draft he will be the first to be NHL ready.
This next season for Budish will be ENORMOUS as far as seeing how he could produce down the road.

I got to see Spaling a TON when he was a Kitchener Ranger and I will tell you that he is a very sound player that is always in the play. I liked him very much, I look forward to seeing him playing on Nashville.

Do not know a ton about Hornqvist.
