June 1 was the deadline to sign Unice, Tanquay, and Greenop. I haven't seen any news but notice they aren't listed in the system anymore according to cbh.com.

They are all gone from the "In the System" roster page.. the player tracker still shows them but says they needed to be signed by 6/1. It also says the team has until 8/15 to sign the college guys, which are Simon Danis-Pepin and possibly Joe Charlebois - not sure if he fits here because of his contract with Rockford.

The worst part about this section of the player tracker is seeing Campbell signed through 2015-16.

Ah, I see now. I was looking at the "in the system" under "stats".

As always, LOL that we still hold Vorobiev's rights.

Until July 1st. Jonas Nordqvist and Vorobiev, as restricted free agents, have both turned 27 in the last month or two so they will become unrestricted (Group 3) free agents in less than a month unless they get signed or released outright by the Blackhawks. The Blackhawks.com player tracker lists Nordquist and Vorobiev in the section that says "European Players Blackhawks Hold Rights To (without a transfer agreement)". The transfer agreement part doesn't apply to these two players.

As little as possible if Tallon was smart or a good negotiator which he isn't. Therefore I anticipate at or over fair market value.

just wondering if Kyle Beach is projected to play at C or W? The CSS had him at C and I see on hockeydb that he's listed at wing

Dudley resigns, apparently going to ATL as assistant GM.

What could he possibly do in free agency that wouldn't make the situation worse...

Actually, since he can't have discussed anything with anyone outside the org yet, he probably resigned Havlat.

Dowell re-signs. I'll treat Bolland as unsigned until a reliable source comes out.
That's good news. Could this mean Fraser has been shown the door?

Good news as well. I hope this means we are resigning Havlat.

Why? Fraser is a good 4th line C who is a good PK. I dont see why Dowell who hasn't proven anything should be handed a roster spot

The more I saw Niemi in Rockford and his brief stint with Hawks the less impressive he was. In fact his pads alone will kill the team as they seem to shoot rebounds all over the place

Proabably getting ready to announce some incompetant signing that will cripple this team for years to come.

Maybe he gave Eager a Byfuglien contract

Doesn't mean he won't do anything more than be placed in Rockford again. But I agree, he looked great early on in the season and his performance dropped to par with Crawford towards the end.

Jake Dowell re-signed (can someone help clarify)

According to the Hawks player tracker (http://blackhawks.nhl.com/team/playertracker.htm), he was already signed through 2009-10. Does this mean he is now signed through 2012 or did they rip up the last year of his entry-level deal? I can't find a clarification of this in any of the articles.

By the way, I'm asking this before the actual NHL free agent list has been released so I'm only going by the Hawks official site. A few of the other "fan" sites show Dowell being a restricted free agent this year.

Thanks.
