2010 2nd rounder
May be a little crazy with the emergence of Peka Rinne, but I think it would be a fairly decent trade for both parties. And it would definitely solve the 2nd line center problem for the Ducks (if they decide not to dip into free agency).

Reason: Wrong name
Value-wise, it's probably closer than some people think, but come on... Nashville's offense gets even thinner. If they're trading from a position of strength (D), they should be trying to acquire another top flight forward... and yes, that may come down to parting with Suter or Hamhuis.
Also, they really have no need for Giguere with Rinne and Ellis in the fold.
EDIT: If you're going to switch up Ryan Ellis for the goaltender 'Ellis', at least make sure you get the first name right (hint: Dan).
Last I checked, Nashville already has goaltenders coming out their ears in their farm system. The reason why Ellis is being traded is because they've already got Pickard, Smith, Deckanich, and some European kid who seems to be good at stealing jobs.
So there's really no need for JSG.
Remember - when you're a hockey fan, it's not "reckless driving", it's "good forechecking".

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!
