As much as Im sure Chicago would love to have Kessel, they do not have the cap space to pay him what he wants and to re-up Toews, Kane, Ladd, Havlat and others.

Theres legit heat between Kess and Skille.

Considering McCub boasted Skille will be a huge part of this team on the Dan McNeil show, doubtful this happens.

What's the heat? And with Kessel scoring better at the NHL level than Skille has at the AHL level wouldn't you just tell Skille to get over it, he's not that important? Chicago's own cap problems probably prevent the trade from going trough anyway.

These proposals must stop.

Though I must say it's not as bad as Kobasew and Ference for future considerations.

From what I understand, it goes back to playing in Wisconsin.

They will never be team mates.

well if we were able to get kessel then we just trade off skille for whatever we could get for him i think he sucks anyways adn has no future on the hawks....maybe he could find himself in another organization but between kessel a great scorer and skille i wouldnt even think twice about getting rid of skille...i would love to have kessel....

This is a very good proposal. I think Chicago would love to acquire Kessel but won't be able to afford it without also dropping Versteeg, who becomes expendable with the addition of Kessel.

If Skille has an issue with Kessel too ****ing bad. Skille will never be more than a fringe NHLer.

That's like saying you wouldn't go out with Jessica Alba because you're dating Rosanne Barr.

And while I think the Bruins say no, I'd do that deal from the Hawks POV in a minute. You then see about moving Buff or Versteeg somewhere, and let the kids step up into the role.
