I know the situations are not perfectly alike, so you can punch holes in it here and there. All in all, they both signed cheap contracts for the best team in the league to have a shot at the Cup. Nothing wrong with that, but it's funny looking at the double standard people have.

Hossa took us all for a ride and gave every indication that he would be playing in Pittsburgh again this past season. Then at the 11th hour he says that he's going to test FA and signs with the team that just beat us in the finals, saying that they have a better chance at winning the Cup.
Guerin was here for the Cup run and wants to stay on board. He's not giving a huge middle finger to a team's fanbase the way Hossa did.

Hossa = kicking a fanbase in the groin when we already had a rash
