Hes the owner, gm, and coach of the Pembroke Lumber Kings. Probably one of the most consistent powerhouses in tier 2 jr. There are no signs of this team slowing down, hell they cut Americans in tryouts because so many want to play for them.

I was reading the book Future Stars and at some point they talked about Jason Bonsignore having no desire to play hockey basically

I was checking through his stats and he played up to 07-08 IIIRC, did he just not want to play in the NHL?

I am not accusing you of doing this but most people do this, it pisses me off to no end. Especially on the Ottawa Senators board where constantly people will say they wanted Kopitar or M. Staal at 9th instead of Brian Lee
And let me guess, you are the type to give people flack for making statements on draft day or before because 'you can't judge them for 4 years?'

Plenty of people make judgments on players pre draft or just after the draft and the hoards give them flack for making a judgement so soon.

Being an elite athlete playing in the best league in the world is a ton of hard work...some guys like to play the game but don't want to put in all the hard work to play at the top level.

Maybe he really likes to play hockey, but not enough to put in the effort to play in the NHL

He enjoyed what hockey could do for him, but didn't really love the game in and of itself. I mean, there really isn't anything else you can do that'll earn you six figures as a teenager, and a lot of guys with talent but no love for the game wind up playing it for the money alone and trying to get by coasting on talent and on minimum effort. Bonsignore was one of those guys.
