I think we're going to need to have Mods be the only people that can start threads.

That, or they came out and offered him WAY too much money immediately.

Aww this makes me sad.
1) Ohlund deserves to go to a contender
2) He's probably overpaid and will be constantly bashed

This should be a VERY GOOD signing (depending on the money obviously)...and I absolutely cannot stand Ohlund.

I'd say wait until we see the dollar amount, this is Tampa Bay afterall. Lawton may not really know fair vaue for a defenseman, given he's only familiar with signing forwards. Since it's Tampa management, maybe there was no tampering, maybe it was just a ridiculous starting offer.

Everyon is saying it's great, wait on the dollars and years to come out, first. If it's any sweeter than Oduya's deal, I don't think it's all that great.

In this case, I don't think Vancouver would mind. WE knew he was gone 3 months ago.

Good luck in Tampa Bay Ohlund.
He was one of my favorite Canuck players.

That would be excellent for TB.
I was thinking closer to 5M.

Perfect move on tb half. A swedish vet that can help Hedman. Great move. It will leave a huge hole on the Vancouver blue line

That would be awful for a player that's declined as much as Ohlund.

He's on the decline but he's still more than just a 3rd pairing.
He can still put up 25 minutes solidly. 30 minutes if needed.
