Historical #28 picks!

I'll start in 2006.

Nick Foligno
Matt Niskanen
Mark Fistric
Corey Perry
Jonas Johansson
Adrian Foster
Justin Williams
Kristian Kudroc
Ramzi Abid
Brad DeFauw
Pavel Skrbec
Jan Hlavac
Johan Davidsson
Shean Donovan
Paul Brousseau
Jim Campbell
Brandy Semchuk

That's back to 1990.

What a pile of *******!

Other than Corey Perry that list is an unmitigated disaster.

If past trends can predict future performance, Chicago isn't getting much of a shot of anything this year. Heh

Agreed. Corey Perry is the only one noteworthy on there. Hopefully we get lucky.

Fistric and Niskanen are both pretty solid young defensemen. I'd be more than happy with either of them.

Nick Foligno has turned into a pretty exciting selection......2008/9 was a good year for him....he was a much an impact player for Ottawa as they had on the 3rd and 4th line....

Fistric, Williams, Niskanen and Foligno are all solid NHL contributors. Justin Williams is exactly what the Hawks need right now to replace Havlat.

Williams cannot replace Havlat.

Its also important to note all of the good players taken after #28. It's not as if this one draft slot is cursed.
