You've got to think EDM comes back to Wild about Josh Harding; Lots of talk at the Draft and now Oil is desperate for goalie

If Clemensen is a choice for your no.1 goalie spot, you ARE desperate.

Well, good things he's not.

Biron
Vokoun
Huet

I personally don't understand the hype behind Harding. I'm sure he has trade value, but I prefer someone more proven.

I hope they're going after him for the purposes of the goalie role......would be dumb if they wanted him to suit up on D.

I would rather sign Marty Biron for cheaper than what it would cost for Harding, but he would be my second choice.

And im not sold on Clemmenson as a starter.

Harding to play as a goalie? Dammit, I was really hoping to see him secure top 6 minutes this season.

He's not available. He's defintiely not a free agent and I don't think the Panthers can afford to trade him.

As for the OP, I like the idea assuming they don't give up the farm to get him. Thye would still need to sign someone else as well though, like a Nittymaki to split time wiht him, something like Harding 50 games Nittymaki 30 games.

Clemmer is decent. Not sure I would trust him as number one just because of last year

Another reason why Heatley should refuse to waive...

Nothing against Clemmensen but he isn't the answer at all...

if the oilers are looking at Clemmenson as their solution in net I wouldn't bank on a playoff birth next year
