They're Bruins
We didn't make the playoffs 3 years ago because of Begin's dumb penalties vs the Leafs

with the way Gainey is dishing out cash, I wouldnt be 'cueing' anything...

for the recored, hated him as a hab, might just hate him as a bruin, but good 4th line signing, cheap money, short deal.

not so sure i like this deal, not so sure i dont either though

There have been quite a few posters on the B's board suggesting we sign him as our replacement for Yelle...it's not new if they come in here praising him. I'd also be happy if we land Tom Kostopolous (sp?) somehow

And don't forget they'll be laying a beating on Komi at every chance to boot.

Yelle, Begin, Metro - every year there is a different player on that fourth line, but of the same mold, I take either one.

I hated the guy in Montreal and really am not big on the signing, hopefully he can change my opinion. He adds the dimension of an agitator which the Bruins were lacking.

I think Begin was plan B, after Lapierre was signed elsewhere.

The 'Begin'ing of the end in Boston.

J/K. You guys have a good group. Nothing wrong with having an extra spoke on the wheel I don't suppose.

Hate him. Hate the signing. He's dirty and useless.

Dime a dozen 4th liner. There's at least 15 UFA's I'd rather have and about 300 other NHL'ers, I'd want over him.

As a B's fan I am NOT happy about this deal. .

Never liked the guy.

I hope to be proved wrong but Begin is not a player I ever wanted on the B's. I like Yelle better.

This is GOOD for the B's

Begin is pretty bad. Takes dumb penalties too. Maybe Julien can discipline him.

I always liked Begin I think Bruins fans will come around. Now if only our UFA's would stop signing with northeast division teams I'll be very happy.

Begin is a good player, but last year he lost some urgency. If he regains that he will be a fan fave in Boston, if not he'll be in Providence. Either way, a pretty good signing.

Seconded. Might be useful, I really, really like the guy. But he did lose some speed, which was probably his best hockey asset.
