Gotta imagine if he has a long career in Montreal (which we all believe he will), he will eventually get an appreciation for Canadian beer.
I mean I don't think our goverment even allows Bud Lite into the country.

edit:
on second thought maybe we don't want our teams best prospects to be big beer drinkers. Maybe he should stick to Bud Lite.
Ya let him stick with bud lite, why give him something strong and screw up his game. Wait till the political science kicks in and he becomes governer somewhere, then give him the strong beer

Truth be told, I love American beer. If you're at an event where more than 1 or 2 may be in order, I find it goes down great, a little lighter. Always like Michelob. I was in Colorado about 20 years ago and actually was in the Coors tasting room. I asked the guy serving us if they had cable because at the time I figured I had all of life's necessities with me. I guess I can forgive the Bud Lite.

Well, this wont go over well, but I freakin hate Canadian beer, it plain sucks. I like European beer brewed in Canada, which gives it the canadian strength, but seriously, Molsons is gross. Sleemans and Moosehead are all I'll drink with canadian origins. But when there's a family gathering they're still drinking Coors Light when they're not in Newfoundland.

I like Sleeman's; Keith's; Moosehead, and Rickard's.
Of the mass produced canadian brands i prefer Blue.

After playing hockey however i find that Miller Genuine Drafts go down the best, but most of the time i stick to the Sleeman's and Keith's.

Well, keep him away from the sheep, then, and goats, for that matter.

BTW, close to 10 000 posts, darz, are you planning a celebration (free beer?)

No celebrations planed. Now if someone wants to buy me a beer.....

I dunno if 10,000 posts is a good thing or not. I mean it's kinda like celebrating a birthday (after your 30th). You really don't want anybody to remind you about it.

I've only had the Belle Guelle Rousse so far. Maybe I should go for the Pilsner next time.
