I think he would fit as DL's short term filler. We will get better this year and I think we could make the playoffs with what we have including Kovalev if we were to sign him. We will be big spenders some day boys just not his year.

Montreal has an interesting trend going. They are overspending and getting smaller:
Gomez 5'11" 7 whatever million a yr
Cammalleri 5'8" 6 million a yr
Gionta 5'4" 5 million a yr.
That's 18 million a yr committed to 3 small forwards.
Are there any players under 5'4" they can pay 3+ million for?
