Boucher is still left.

So is Biron

I liked Ohlunds deal. Not very overpaid if not injured but anyone who watched Nucks know he will get injured.

Boucher... overpaid. Predicted it but under 800K WTF is wrong with us? we can not even get a discount from a guy who two timed us?

Come on Homer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O yes, Cole was resigned with Canes. I wanted him. I wonder how much he got.

Homer get 3rd lince over 6'1 good on face offs and D center.

I wish the best of luck to Knuble. Deal was was deserves but Flyers did not gamble. Good move and screw you FlyersJunky

Nodl = minor leaguer. Laperriere gets priority. I'm sure Nodl has some number with some significance in his head he's got in mind.

Pronger switches to 20 now? I wonder why the change?

Laperriere wears 14 I believe for Mattias Norstrom, who was captain of the Kings in his later days there, and they're good friends.

Maybe 21 or 15 now? If he goes to a number he wore in the past he has to go back to when he played in Austria. He wore 14 with the Phantoms, 12 with St. Cloud, and 16 with Sioux Falls.

I think gaborik's best season was like 82 pts. And that gets 7.5 a year. really. Other than the fact he's made of glass. Callameri's contract also worries me. Carter is going to want 6-7 mil in a few years.

Zubov one year deal at 2.15. Pretty good deal if he plays over 50 games.

6-7 million for Carter 2 years from now is market value. Why are you worried?

I doubt heavily you see Nodl in the minors.

Gagne-Richards-Briere
Hartnell-Carter-Giroux
Lappy-Powe-Nodl
Carcillo-AHL-Asham

Kalinski
Ross
Matsumoto
JVR

I think Matsumoto is ready.

I love how people automatically think Nodl is a minor leaguer after one 20 something game stint in the NHL....The guy hasnt even had a full season in the AHL yet....Geez.....It was obvious watching him that he is a skilled player, he just needs a chance and some stability to develop whether that be in the NHL or AHL.

Problem right now is we hardly have any skill in the bottom 6, we have all nasty grit...We need some skill.....On the other hand if we role 3 offensive lines like we have done in the past, Nodl needs to take one of those spots in the top 9 cause Lappy or Asham sure as heck shouldnt be playing with Richards, Carter or Briere

Probably 15.

I hope #21 stays open, since it will likely be JVR's #.

You just answered your own question as to why everyone thinks he's a minor leaguer. He's very skilled, but I'd rather him develop if he's not absolutely needed so that when he's ready to come to the NHL he'll perform better. During that stint, I didn't think he looked much like an NHL player, he looked like an AHL player who was called up. Until he develops to where he'll be performing properly in the NHL, I'd rather him stay in the AHL and develop. Of course, he still has a lot to prove during training camp too.

I'm not saying who I want where, because frankly...I don't know who belongs where. Time will tell, and who knows if we're even done wheeling and dealing.

I'm not one for matching salaries on a line, in a cap world...you can't.

Look at the Red Wings second line last season in the playoffs: Clearly - Filpula - Hossa.

Chemistry >>> Equal Salaries

I dont disagree with that....I dont want him in the NHL if he is going to be playing on the 4th line....But if we go with 3 lines Gagne/Richards, Hartnell/Carter and Giroux/Briere, we dont have anyone else who can fill a spot on one of those lines.

He looked fine to me....He showed his passing ability, he showed he isnt afraid of the physical game and actually was even willing to hit people....He just wasnt great defensively. However, if he was playing on a "3rd line" with two steady defensive players like a Malhotra/Powe or Malhotra/Lappy combination I would be perfectly fine with it.

I like Matsumoto, I am still perplexed as to why he hasnt been given a chance and Kalinski, Powe, Ross have been!

Personally I'd much rather Ross, who had over a point per game in the AHL, and is really ****ing fast.

Thank you. People keep regurgitating the idea that Briere and Giroux can't be on the third line, oh noes! But Stevens has said so himself he likes them together which means one of them is a centre behind Carter and Richards. Ultimately the coach will decide, and so far he doesn't appear to want two lines of physical guys who can't score. Frankly, neither do I.
