The pressure will be on these vets, and off the kids. I'd expect Price, AK, and Pleks all have bounce back years...

i think just the fact that we finally have a definitive 1st line should take pressure off these kids. before, everyone was expecting 1st line numbers and that was too much for them.

Eklund is saying "Don't completely rule out some suprising returns to the Habs. Player or players thought gone."

Don't discount it. Eklund has been spot on since Tuesday about the Habs. He called a major move by Montreal two hours before Cammalleri. His updates on Twitter seem to be a lot more credible than HB for some odd reason.

I'd love two of Tanguay, Koivu and Kovalev returning, although I wouldn't be surprised if he meant Dandenault and Kostopolous.

With all the pressure they had, it's no surprise they had to vent it off by partying so much.

This will definitely take the spotlight off of the likes of Pleks and the Kostitsyns. Not Price though, as the #1, he'll still be under a lot of pressure.

I'm worried about next year when Skost, Lapierre and Price want their raises.

After winning the cup they're gonna want to cash in

I you think that the Habs over paid for these three then you must think that Komi's 4.5 million was a massive over payment (which it is).

If you overpay a 30 or 40 goal scorer to the tune of 5 million a year then how can a 11 point defenceman that cant hit or skate or shoot get 4.5 a year?
