If Emery goes down, I don't like our chances.

What team likes their chances when the #1 goalie goes down? Unless you have a tandem like Nabokov and Toskala or Thomas and Fernandez it's always a worry.

Boucher had a higher save percentage then Nabokov last season.
I dont mind this signing. cheap money. He wants to be here.
Dont worry GKJ we will trade a 2012 2nd round pick to the Islanders for Roloson if we have to at the deadline

OK, my bad. I read it wrong.

I think that's too much for Garon then.

It worked out ok for the Devils last year with Clemmensen, didn't it? Oh if Clemmensen was only available this free agent season. Oh, sorry, he was.

BTW, I love that softball that Chuck Gormley threw Boucher asking if he agreed with Homer that he's a better goaltender. What's he going to say? No, I think I was better then?

Hindsight is 20/20 though...

If you asked Devils fans what they thought the teams chances of succeeding should Brodeur go down with a torn bicep...I'm sure nobody would have given Clemmenson (or the Devils for that matter) much hope.

My only issue with Boucher is, his numbers came in only 22 games. We don't have a surefire #1 that Boucher is backing up. He MIGHT need to be relied on for far more than 22 games...and he hasn't done that in a long time.

This is the risk you take, if Emery or Boucher get on hot streaks and the Flyers defense should be MUCH better than last year already.

He has proven capable before....I think he deserves another shot.

Emery is our #1. We all knew it when he was signed and Homer confirmed it yesterday. For better or worse, that's how it is.

Just wanted to stop by and say you guys will love Boosh. He is a guy who can really step up when the team needs him to, and he is hilarious off the ice.

Typical Flyers, however. Everyone (from management, sports writers to fans) gives up on goaltenders way too quickly. ****ing guys like Brodeur or Roy could have come to this team and they'd have been run out of town like every other net minder they've ever had.

I predicted this move for sure but for less 650-700K a year.

Biron is still UFA looking for a deal. If he signes Antropov kind of deal would you say good luck? Not me.

If he gets a deal like Antropov, he better learn how to speak Russian.
