Good signing, wish that Nashville could have signed him back though.

Vish will be in the D rotation.

Wonder if Fistric and a second gets you Harding assuming Burke gets Gus-

I also think Zubie is likely gone as I also want to see what IV can do-

I think the answer to that is yes. First good news of the off-season

Sydor said he wants to play one more season. But I see no teams picking him. He'll retire. Or is Atlanta interested? For league minimum.....

Skrastins can join Zanon as the best bang for your buck signing thus far. Nicely done by Dallas. Not flashy, but he can really help solidify the Stars blueline.

You think Daley and a pick would get us Harding?

Maybe we'll find out soon enough!

Would Minnesota have any interest in him?

Skrastins is such a solid player. He did everything for the Panthers last year. Probably our best defensive guy. He'll block anything close to him and is actually really solid one-on-one and in two-on-ones (player with Bouwmeester).

I am livid that the Panthers couldn't sign him for such a cheap price and gave Koistinen $1.25.

Because this is not a major signing.

The same thing happened to NJ.

Steal of free agency. He isn't flashy but is reliable and blocks a ton of shots. Makes the simple play and rarely does anything stupid. I wish we signed him. He is underrated.

Hated it when Skrastins left Nashville, hated it when the Stars had to play against him when he was in Colorado, and now love that he is with the Stars. This is a great signing for Dallas.

Skrastins is a shot blocking machine (top-10 last year with 171) and a really smart defenseman who doesn't take penalties. He played really well with Bouwmeester last season on Florida top pairing.

I like this move a lot.

The Kings just gave Scuderi three and a half million per year for four years. I honestly think this signing blows that one right out of the water.

Speaking about the Kings and Stars, as a Coyotes fan, the Pacific sure has been quiet. Obviously there was the Pronger blockbuster, but I expected a Montreal-esque dismantling of the Sharks, and I figured the Kings would be big players for the likes of Gaborik, Havlat, ect. Phoenix adding Aucoin is actually more than I expected for us, but for the most part, teams down here, haven't even been generating a lot of whispers, let alone a lot of action.

Yeah, not a lot from the Pacific so far, and pretty much all the big fish are gone.

The Sharks almost seem a little too quiet. I was expecting them to be somewhat busy.

I haven't really heard a peep about Tanguay. Maybe the Kings have been busy with him? Hell, the Coyotes all of the sudden seem to have a bunch of money laying around that none of us fans expected to see(Vandermeer 2.3M, Aucoin 2.25M, Fiddler1.1M, and Labarbera 1.1M).

I was going to post how much I like the sound of the last name Skrastins, but it's like barely the third coolest name in this post.
