If a prospect was born before 1981, hasn't been drafted in the past two years, and is still playing, or returned to play, in Europe, he's not included. If one of those players comes back to North America some time, he'll be included again. With Muratov, the Oilers have pretty much said they've given up on the thought of bringing him over, so I left him off. A "no prospects prospect" I guess.
Hey if you want to get technical, the forgotten guy overseas that the Oilers still "own" is Finnish forward Jussi Tarvainen. I asked KP about him in the summer.
Q: Is Tarvainen still your property?
A: We still have Tarvainen, he’s playing in Sweden. We’ve asked a number of times if he’d want to come over and he wanted a specific number in his contract and we weren’t prepared to give that. If that should change in the next year or so then we’d certainly be willing to look at him. He scores goals and he’s a big strong kid but we weren’t prepared to give what he was looking for.

I believe the Minnesota Wild have Spirodonov's rights. He could probobly be a second line scorer in the NHL if he ever could play in North America like he can in Russia. he just likes it back home more I guess.
