Now that the season and playoffs are over, I thought we'd do an "HFboards ranking" for each position.

So basically, who (of the following) is the best defenceman in the NHL? ie. which Dman would you want on your team for next year only? (independent of their respective salary)

I like Suter and Seabrook for the next two, but I just like Seabrook a lot more than a lot of people around here too I think.

Willie Mitchell because he is bau5 defensively.
how did Phaneuf end up on the list period? his defensive play last year was embarrassing, h was a liability in Calgary

Nice to see Suter finally getting recognition around here. Not too long ago someone tried to convince me Burns was easily better than him. Burns isn't even in discussion here.
