Since there is no hockey tonight...

You really all should watch the Red Sox-Yankees game. I suspect many here are part of the lost generation of baseball fans, but I'm telling you, give it a shot. The last three games of this series have been like an Oilers-Stars series, the good ones, where it's nothing but blood and guts. Schilling last night had a tendon stapled into place, and pitched 7 great innings.

And it's guaranteed win night in the Bronx for the Sox...

Well, there's still the Road Runners... (how's the weather there today?)

I'm not much for baseball, although I have watched parts of this series.

The evil empire known as the New York Yankees must go down.

My friend from Boston told me that "Schilling threw the bahl wicked hahd lahst night."
Boston accent always cracks me up.

This from people who pay 70$ for tickets to an Oilers-Wild game, which is packaged and sold as "entertainment".

Who's your Papi?

...

I'm a huge A-ROD fan, he got caught red-handed last night though, but I despise the Yankees. The Sox were down 3-0 and I called them as the first ever team to come back and force a game 7...I am on the wagon pulling for the Sox to become the first team in MLB history to come back from 3-0 to win a series and go on to win the World Series. Derek Lowe will pitch a gem tonight and Manny will be swingin for the fence!

P.S. I think the Cardinals will win tonight and take game 7 lighting up the 'Rocket'. Red Sox over the Cardinals 4-1 in World Series!!!

You guys are funny.

The Red Sox don't win big games.

The Yankees do.

Red Sox = Losers

Yankees = Winners.

Period.

So what happened to the Yankees? Blowing a 3-0 series lead. The first time in baseball that's happened. Who lost the big game now? Yeah I feel like rubbing it in. It was in Yankee Stadium. Congrats Bo-Sox.

I really feel like a dancing banana right now.

Sportsnet just called the 2004 Yankees chokers.

I am sooooo happy. I can't stand the Yankees, I hate them almost as much as the Flamers. Awesome stuff showed by the entire Red Sox team. Way to go BO SOX!!!

Well that was terrible. Chalk this one up to mistakes by Joe Torre in games 4 and 5 plus the rainout. I'm glad I was at the Roadrunners game or else I'd be more depressed. Not that it was very exciting.

The Yankees have a a good few names that I REALLY like, however, Jeter, A-Rod, Williams, and Rivera would make me cheer against Jim Thome probably.

Either way, 'Cards will light up my #2 hero in baseball (Rocket) tomorrow night and win the world series in either five or six games.

Nah, the problem is that Yankees = Losers.

Mu ha ha ha ha

Since I moved here (New York) in 2001, I have cursed the Yankees. How can any self respecting Oiler fan cheer for the Yankees when they are baseball's equivalent of all that is wrong with the current collective bargaining system with hockey. I understand that they Yankees can afford a payroll near 200 million, but that does not go without its effects on the small market teams. Fortunately, my curse is stronger than any payroll extravaganza. Only when I return to Canada in a year or two might my curse be lifted!

Oh, and I guess I should have a few of these ----->
for Tony Salmo!

I was at the Runners game and thought it was very entertaining. Both goaltenders played great..and we got a win. Not too shabby.
