EXCELLENT Brownlee story on Platt

http://www.canoe.ca/NewsStand/Edmont...19/675790.html

Just a fantastic read in my opinion. Emotional just to read it, I can't imagine having been in Platt's shoe's for the last ten days. Best of luck to his brother and the family.

Wow that is incredible that Bryce Platt will be able to do almost everything again. Good lucky to him and his family. Now I dont mean to sound insensitive but since i've never watched Jason Platt play, will he stick with the Runner's?

All I can say is that kid is very lucky to be alive.

Best wishes to Jason Platt and his family.

Wow......

The NHL vs. NHLPA battle seems to pale in comparison to this story in my mind...

Best wishes to the entire Platt family....

I've been in a similar situation when I was in 7th grade a truck rolled over my dads chest and head and like Jason there was no way to prepare for the visual awaiting you. Luckilly he made a full recovery other than aches and pains and never really being 100% again, but that's the last of your worries in a situation like that. Great to hear that his brother is healing from something that just a few weeks ago could have easily been fatal. Best of luck to the Platts and to Jason for playing with new inspiration and energy.
