Brad Richards to NYR

I'm hearing that we're interested in Richards. Not that I want him especially at that salary but what would it cost Sather to acquire him? Since Dallas was interested in Redden last year would Redden + Zherdev + Anisimov/1st get it done?

Would NYR have to give up THAT much?

I don't really want him either, just asking what it would cost.

If we give up Redden, then I'm all for Richards. At least Brad Richards can do something other than screen Lundqvist and just straight up suck constantly.

Sather can't truly have such a short memory capacity. As a division rival this pleases me, as a person I feel bad for the man.

Dallas is not rebuilding, thus Richards is not going anywhere.

Explain to me why the Stars would deal Brad Richards to shore up their defensive depth, when they could just sign a defender from the market? Re-signing Zubov is cheaper and better.

The Stars also do not need to dump Richards due to his large contract, as the Stars are in no cap worries what so ever.

If you seriously want Richards, expect to add significant value in return.
